United Heavy Transport is committed to apply the highest level of health, safety, security, environmental, and quality standards to all sea transportation projects we are entrusted with. We encourage everyone to take part in this safety culture, which is based on clear and visible leadership.
We manage and control our projects through our Health, Safety, Security, Environmental, and Quality Management System, which is used in all offices and on all vessels. We think before we act. Our activities are planned, organized, and performed in a safe and environmentally-friendly manner from the management top down to the employees and the crew onboard our vessels. Safety starts with you and me.
Our health, safety, security, environmental, and quality policies are supported by in-house, experienced, qualified specialists who ensure that the movement of our clients’ goods are managed without damage to the environment, without hazard to personnel, and without risk to the cargo. Each voyage method work statement includes its own detailed section on HSSEQ including a voyage specific risk analysis.
United Heavy Transport is certified by DNV for its Integrated Management System according to ISO standards 9001:2015, 14001:2015, and 45001:2018.
United Heavy Transport is committed to the highest standards of ethical business conduct and integrity. We have a consistent compliance policy across all our offices globally and our values and Code of Conduct are issued to all staff. This represents our clear statement and commitment to ethical business practices internationally. These standards are mandatory and must be followed at all times.
United Heavy Transport and the non-profit Rolner Foundation support various social projects, both nationally and internationally. We encourage our suppliers or their shareholders to also participate in civic engagement and contribute to society in the countries and regions where they do business.
